SAILOR® 55 Fleet+ offers high-speed and cost-effective communication in a compact package, for mid-sized vessels. Stay in touch with voice, email and Internet throughout your voyage across the globe with coverage from 78° north to 78° south. The system is also simple to configure via user-friendly software on a standard pc.
SAILOR® 55 Fleet+ is compact and its light antenna along with its low power consumption makes it ideal for a variety of vessels. Using the Inmarsat global beam you’ll get high quality voice communications, with the flexibility to connect a broad range of other communication equipment, supporting up to seven handsets for use with internal calls within the vessel. With Inmarsat’s spot beams, your data and fax capability and ISDN are up to 64 kbps.
With the SAILOR® 55 Fleet+ you choose your connection type. MPDS is perfect for small file transfers, Internet browsing, or a VPN connection. With the MPDS (Mobile Packet Data Service) you are only charged for the amount of data you send and receive. ISDN on the other hand provides a high speed constant data channel for transferring larger files. With ISDN you are charged per minute no matter the data size.
